Tires
The new Kumho SPT are 230 a set and seem to be better than the 712's
that they are replacing. I'm not a huge fan of the 712s even tho I have
them on my car now. I have seen the 712's wear pretty fast as well, and
they cup quickly unless you rotate them frequently. From what Ive been
hearing, the spt are better in most aspects than the 712 and only ~25
more a set.
The 711 are pretty hard tires, if its only 40 dollars or so, I would go
with the ES100. Even the dunlop fm901 are on special now but for only
10 bucks less than es100 or the SPT I doubt its worth it for those. But
any of those is better than the 711 for not a whole lot more money. The
711 isnt a bad tire for the price at all, considering they are only 160
a set, but its such a marginal increase in price for quite a jump in
performance to go with something in the range of the es100 or similar.
