i've been impressed with t-mobile. they have a deal for couples where you 
get 2 phones/accounts for the typical cost of one phone/account with other 
services. the plan also has the unlimited nights/weekends and unlimited 
calls to other t-mobile people.
$40 / month, and both phones were free.
