RE: eBay: '75 Scirocco w/ 30k ATTN SCOTT ROSE
I was thinking the same thing, but I didn't want to ruin the mood.
Unfortunately, this car probably has its share of overspray, masking lines
and maybe bondo...an accident is the only reason why this car would've been
repainted, as its interior condition and low mileage suggest that the paint
would have been in fine condition.
This helps me feel better about not being able to afford it.
If it was an 80 or 81 I would just sell my house and buy it.
Jim
BTW, anyone have any MKII euro bumps or lights they want to sell? Very good
condition or better only, please.

He mentioned it was repainted (I wonder why?)
I bet the side markers were replaced then...would be sad if it was wrecked
at one point (hence the repaint). By the 80s, I am sure the original
sidemarkers were unavailable.
It is one clean car...we really need Scott Rose (he is in St Louis) to go
look at this, take more pictures, and have him bring a magnet to test for
bondo/look closely for crash damage.
