That Scirocco feeling wuz Julie's
To me its about the age-old idea of making something yours by toiling on it. This used to be one way of determining land ownership. If you had worked the land, then it was yours. One thing I secretly dislike about new cars is that they don't need me. That and they all weight 50% more than our cars do and other stuff like that. I know I'm supposed to be able to walk away from my Scirocco if circumstances make it more financially reasonably, or something like that. Somehow that's just not how folks like us are wired, I suppose.
