Help Timbo Decide...
You ask this of me? ROFLMAO.
I say go with the big adventure. Park a Rocco at mom's house take the
better of the two and head east. That way if you end up flying back to
Denver you don't have to rent a car. Worst case scenario you drive back in
a few months. What is there to lose?
I see people in my family in Ohio that think that Cincinnati is the center
of the universe, and admittedly it is close but damn... get out and
explore. ;) My Ohio returns have been pretty easy historically btw. I
look at my brother and other than a short stint in the Army and whatever's
within a day's drive of Ohio he hasn't GONE anywhere. He's never been on a
plane. He's going to live and die there with his blinders on not knowing or
caring that anything else is out there.
That's one of the reason I took the job in California. I am going to do a
tremendous amount of traveling up and down the left coast. I would go
absolutely out of my "mucking find" if I had to work in the same place and
routine for more than a couple years. I never thought that commercial
lighting and dimming systems would be answer to the call of the wild... but
oh well. If I don't like it I won't do it for more than a year or two.
Jons and relationships... you have to like what you do. If you aren't 100%
happy find a new job. People pretty much suck no matter where you go
however... LOL
Sorry for the rant, just my .02
