1982 Scirocco doorpanel help needed

There's a hidden screw at the base of the handle.  Pull that and the
entire handle comes free.  reassemble with the top part in place.  You
will see a hook and that hook fits in a notch inside the door.

My GOD that could be taken WAAAAAAAAAAY out of context.  LOL
