Belts squeeling
Hmmm, I'm using Continental and they still require retightening.

We have lost count of the number of times we have tighten the Alternator
belt because it keeps stretching??? anyways it is loose. I can't see that
anything else is shifting. We are using Gates belts. I don't ever remember
having this problem with Continental (German) Belts.

I've tightened my new belts 3 times so far. I made sure all of the mounts
were tight...just did the 3rd tightening a few days ago. I might pull the
water pump this weekend, so I'll let you know if they loosened up again.
