I prefer DHL for anything bigger than 30lbs, they never broke anything of
mine, and this includes hoods, doors windows.

I shipped a well-crated Turbo-Hydro 350 transsmission via UPS once.
They broke the case into five pieces.
I think that the better-packed an item is, the more of a challenge they
perceive it.
