Get it done, you will thank me later. Around here, I can get my GTI done for 100.00. They guarantee it against scratches (as in, get one or two, get it done fo' fwee), and the stuff they use now does not turn purple like the shizzle in my car now. 'Luminar' or something close is the brand of choice... They also guarantee not to get dust on the tint, which is pretty noticeable. Most cut it via computer, so the fit is nice...
In other words, for me it is more trouble than it is worth. Get it done, get a guarantee, get onto something else...
