Vortex thread-PL and 9a Stock Cam Sets Different?

There is a thread on Vortex, link below, over the eternal debate as to
the best head for a 2.0l conversion.  The thread quickly steers a bit
off topic because of a few comments from Dick Shine of Shine Racing
(know for some conterversial suspension mods).  He states that the stock
cam sets in the 1.8 are 'better' and cheaper than the stock cam sets in
the 2.0 motor.  
I was always under the impression that the cam sets were the same in the
two motors.  Anyone have any different knowledge they would like to
share?
 
Here is his quote; also the rest of the thread is good for a read too.
 
"Just put the cams in! The 1.8 head is great for racing or if you are
really modifying the motor, but wont work as well as the 2 liter head in
a stock application. The 051 head is far more driveable and generally
runs better. The PL only has better cams (cheaper and easier to change)
The urban legend that the PL head is a great swap just aint true. "
