Terminology Q: "respray"
There is not EXACT terminology for a "respray" but that said, it usually
involves;
- sanding of clears coat/top coat
- body fillers/putty of minor dents
- painting with new coats of paint
- painting of clear coat
- polishing/sanding of clear coat
