Strut Bearing/Shaft Problem
Well I tried that... but this thing is fairly corroded and the strut that is
in there has a flat-head on the end. My new one is allen, but the old one is
for a flat head screwdriver, I couldn't get the proper torque on it. I am
thinking about cutting the old shaft (I imagine that is fairly HARD steel)
as I have new everything except the strut housing socket (?) itself--I guess
that is the proper name, it's what the strut cartridge sits in.
I found a TT tool for $26.00
Product ID: 916.022 Strut Nut Socket 22mm, but I am itching to do this
today. :)
Thanks again.

Build a man a fire and keep him warm for an evening...
Set him on fire, and keep him warm for the rest of his life.
