Most car club/website/etc stickers that I've either had or seen are a
pretty basic sparkle silver colour.  It's subdued enough that it's not
going to look gaudy and goes well with any colour.  I would personally
want a fairly dark silver vinyl because I prefer it to be very subtle.
 I would also actually advise against trying to colour match for most
people (black and white could probably be matched well) because if it
doesn't match just right it could look really bad.
As far as silver goes, maybe order a couple different shades?  I, for
one, wouldn't be terribly picky.
