Dreams of owning a Hyunda. Seriously, no dreams, this family is keeping me
sleep deprived of late. Needless to say, I'm not feeling wonderful today.

Now here's a question. I have two options.
a) remove the matching hose from the 80, which involves dumping whatever
gas it has in its tank. The hose is heavier, and has a fabric outer, so
I'm guessing that it is the proper VW version. In unknown used condition.
b) Install the hose I got at crappy tire this morning, it's not metric,
and is just a bit tight, it'll go on, but with a bit of a fight. Looks to
be the same two layer type that's on there now. Obviously this means
draining Klaus' tank to the bottom regardless.

What say ye? This is not a pressurized hose, as it's before the pump.

And GL with that project, Tosha. I'm just trying to get the fuel part of
that ratio going again.
