OT/OFT Batteries and Pennies

Cool! Aside from squishing change on the train tracks, another fun way to destroy a penny is to hollow it out. Use a knife or something to cut 4 little nicks in the penny deep enough to see the zinc inside. Then, drop in HCl (hydrochloric acid) and wait a day or two and all that'll be left is the copper shell.
 
On a related and on topic note, I use half dollars on my battery terminals cuz I'm a Big Balla! Bling Bling!

some water to make little penny sculptures. Yes, I got bored there
and I'm glad my employer didn't know I was a pyro before he hired me
at that gas station. :)
