back brakes sticking

Dont mean to hijack this tread about the rear calipers ;)
BUT...
since were on the Brake topic i got a question...
are the 16V calipers and the 8V calipers the same ???
i know the cariers are different...
because i wanted to "upgrade" the brakes on my car and when i put on the 16V rotors... NFG they too big :@
so do i need to source the cariers or do i need to get the whole shabang ???
