What benefits you get with the alternator moved to the back of the engine?

     For those who have relocated the alternator to the a/c mounting
position on a 16V, what belt brand and part # are you using?  I recently did
this mod and I'm hoping to save myself a lot of trial and error in getting
the correct belt size.
