How many gallons of gas in a 'Roc?

I cant fit 14.4. 11.5 to 13 will get me 250-270miles. Cruising I can get 320
mile to a tank.

My 81 is rated at Ten Gallons, with a reserve, which I take to mean not 
quite two more gallons.

It depends if we are talking topping off up to top of the filler neck 
for that dash across the Desert type capacity vs what the original 
manual lists.
