Corrado Tune Up/ Maybe it's first!

Hello All,

Cathy, I don't think I will be as long as you tonight, but it's good.

We're always looking for ways to get just a little bit more mileage on Ellen's raddo, so a tune up wouldn't hurt, well, and that she can't remember the last time baby had a tune up if one at all!

So nice little chat with Kristen Potter-man, and today K&N air filter, Eurosport 8mm plug wires, and NGK plugs.

After standing by at home waiting for the engine to cool down, OK impatiently waiting for the engine to cool down, I finally give in.

Let's change the air filter first. Yeah right, if anyone has a 2 year old child who could possibly get their tiny little fingers in there to get the clips off I would like to borrow that child next time. Oh and did I not mention that it also has an aluminum engine line sitting on it and a very short, every not-want-to-cooperate intake boot behind it! This bitch was in there tight, I'm talkin trying to screw a squirrel with John Holmes love organ tight.

So after rebuilding the air box and putting half of "baby" back together, on to the plugs and wires and by this time it's getting dark, by the way I still love Ellen at this point.

One wire off, one plug out. One plug in, one wire in. Until number 3 and number 5, and 5 definitely being a number I hate now.

Number 3, bad but not too bad as far as getting the NASA creation deep socket wire out, off of the coil pack is a little difficult, but, let's move on shall we.

(Mental Note; 8mm plug wires do not fit into the guides on top)

So, where was I, oh yes number bastard or to all 5.

Get to number 5, the last one. At this time Ellen has come outside to do the huggy thing, I still love here at this point.
Disconnect wire from coil pack, a little harder than the other but ok, get to the other end which seems 2 miles inside the engine, and guess what. It doesn't want to budge, as in it seems to bee welded in there. After getting my 1 million candle watt aircraft landing light from the garage to get a further look down the abyss (and find out if that is a skunk about 5 feet away from me)
I look inside, and I see something that looks like MOLD, yes MOLD in bold letters, mold!

So after almost hooking up a tow chain to my neighbors suburban to yank that bastard out(my arms are jello at this point) it finally frees itself from I swear it seemed like China, or a Chinaman holding the other end of it in China.

I pull it out, and all over the metal shroud of this space shuttle looking part is mold or something in the same family, neighborhood, you get the point.

I look down the tunnel to hell, and there is a massive clump of this mold-looking crap.

Now that everyone has either fallen asleep or hit delete.

What the hell is this stuff? I have never in all my cars seen this come out of a plug/plug wire. Oh, and yes each spark plug looked like it had been spay painted black, Audi/VW plugs, I'm believing that these plugs/ wires have been run on for over 100k(I've only been married to this "car" for 21 months, so I'm not sure.

Any ideas? ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ...ZZZZZ..ZZZZZZZZZZZ
