WTB asap - 9A oil pump drive gear
Have you taken it apart?
The reason I ask is it may be easily fixed. If the teeth have a bunch of
scratches across the edges, then throw it out. However, if it appears to be
binding with the bottom (the part that unblolts to reveal the gears), then
just file acorss it until it is good and flat. If the binding is in the
bush at the top of the pump, then that indeed is not easy to fix.
Did this engine you bought have a headgasket failure, and the water stayed
in the block for X amount of time?
PS-- I have an ABA hydraulic pump (36mmIIRC) with only 40K on it that I
need to sell if you would prefer...
