now that i've moved over to dsl service here in GA, i can no longer bask in 
the semi-constant ip address that i used to have with cable service in 
charleston. my ip changes too often for the old dhs.org link to keep up 
with. the dyn.dhs.org link updates considerably faster when the ip changes.

so... any links that contained scirocco.dhs.org, change to 
scirocco.dyn.dhs.org.

p.s. if anyone sees any popular stuff that needs updating / editing (vortex 
posts, etc), lemme know.
