Passed smog test!
We occassionally have issues with seat heaters
Unfortunately, it appears
that anything German these days is due for electrical troubles (I think they
are recycling their materials that they use in the wiring, which makes for
poor insulator quality)
How many folks are we talking about?
TIA,
David

Everyone I have talked to lately about their newer BMW's are having issues
that the dealerships cannot diagnois. For instance, seat heat goes straight
to highest setting, change thermostat, no fix, changed wiring harness and
connectors to and from seat, no fix. So, they just swapped the entire seat
out, and now the seat doesn't match the car, and it did'nt fix the problem
either.

What is that statement based on?
BMW is the highest rated German manufacturer in Germany at the moment, Audi
is somewhere in the twenties, after nearly all the Japanese brands...
Are you relaying that after some hard times with a car you had?

I'm pretty much planning on selling it back to Doug Tulia cause it's a PITA
to get to pass SMOG. I got one place to give me a Pre-Test for free and
found out I'm way off, and it was funny watching him try to run it on the
dyno cause it has No power to spin the dyno at the right speeds.
I'm most likely getting a 93-94 BMW 325i to be my toy.
