I checked my oil level this morning and it looks to be about a quart
and a half too high! On friday, I added 3/4 of a quart to get the
level to the top of the full line. I didn't check it again until this
morning. It is a little cool this morning, 27*, and I have not
started the car since driving last night. I do have an external oil
cooler with a thermostat. Could it have gotten stuck and the oil just
flowed out of the cooler into the pan? I'm more than a little
worried. If it is really to much oil, by running the engine, which
seals are most likely to fail? I do have a little seepage around the
front mail seal, but it's been that way for the last 30K miles. Any
thought before high noon would be great cause that's when I need to go
to work.
