I'm ditching the 2L

fastest I have done in a scirocco has been seriously dumped on when I
mentioned the tach reading ( and I could say the same about the
video's tach, RPM vs Speed reading seems iffy if you ask me) so I will
not want to re-open that can of worms..

But the fastest I ever have done is 9,2 seconds on a quarter Mile
track in a Ford Maverick with a 400 Chrysler drivetrain, big daddy
slip and street 60's 2ply as wheels in the rear.

the only other other time I really have gone fast was in a apple green
911 porshe on the nevada desert flat hwy, clock on police radar (I was
not driving - but was a passenger in  someone's car I know well), at
190 MPH,btw the police interceptor we passed on the hwy was at a full
stop, and caught up to us in less that 2 miles, I never got permission
to get a picture, but I tell you it was a full blow mad max trans-am
with slick-type tires in the back, and a blower sticking out of the
hood that would make mad max proud.
