I will step into the foray on this point... As a veteran, one is due every courtesy a country can afford, just as ex-police, an ex-sheriff, and any other job where your work can take -your freakin' life-.... Granted, engineering could kill you, but only if you are a hobbyist, and you do not know what the flock you are doing... It should not where someone comes from. If they are a veteran of the US armed forces, we need to offer them any courtesy necessary...
Perhaps if you had seen some of the sacrifices our military make to do their job firsthand, you would not show how much of a (*^*(%^ you can be as often as you seem to...
