HOWDY!
>From my many many years in Upstate NY I can promise you that there is NO WAY you can get a ticket for having dark tint if the car is plated someplace else. Well you can get one but its bullshit.   As many of you may recall, I went to skul in Buffalo but my parents were in Wisconsin at the time.  I intentionally plated my car with WI plates and then put 5% all the way around the car.  I was there for 6 years and got pulled just 1x for it despite being checked out by more than one cop(and yeah, got pulled for a LOT of other things).  Anywho, this prick did a Uturn on a super busy street and came flying after me.  I pulled over, dropped both windows, and proceeded to be nice & respectful towards the man in blue.  He reamed my ass about the tint first, and then proceeds to go apeshit over my unclicked seatbelt(around my waste though) which I had just unclicked off IN FRONT OF HIM to get my wallet.  That was my breaking point.  That's where I told him to give me a "f-n ticket" if he
 really thought that the judge would like him wasting the court's time with an out of state plated car.   I didn't get a ticket somehow...... still don't know why.  
....back to diaper duty lurk mode.  cc me direct.
