The FINGER vs the PUSHROD
well it could be the finger is cracked, the pushrod pushed through the
plate, or the spring on the finger is broken. had that problem a few times
on cars.
I was working on a A4 golf 1.8T last week that had the problem where the
pedal would go to the floor and stay there. had to replace the lever, slave
cylinder, clutch disk, Pressure plate, and flywheel. it also bent the
sleeve that bolts to the tranny.
