Hah! On top of the trek out & back, Kevin did a run through the 
mountains (well, coastal foothills) out to Duarte's Tavern by the 
beach with Tobias (thx for half way), (Mark H. ('just' a GTI IV), 
Jason 'from Mars' (Mars Red Mk1 mit 2.0 16v), and I riding shotgun in 
Kevin's  beeeeeeutiful Blazingly Scarlet Mk2.
