I think about this subject every time I see a MB C230 or C320 Coupe.
IMHO I think these
cars capture the essence of a modern Scirocco the best.

I love the M3 Coupe also, but not sure if it's a resurrected Scirocco
though.

But the BMW products, while butt ugly the closer you get to a Scirocco
remake (think hardtop), _are_ a good example of a car that
demonstrates what VW could do if they wanted to.
