Front-end vibration?
I though it could have been a tire, so I changed all 4 tiores and got them
balance with the road-test machine..
The problem remains.

My vote is for balance/weights.
I had my tires changed and balanced when I started to recondition the Roc
and noticed that the shop had put the weightts on the outside of the rim.
Being that I was primping a bit, after I noticed I took it back to the
shop to ask if they could put the weights on the inside of the rim and for
a nominal charge they did (although I was trying to get it done for free).
While the weights were on the outside the Roc was solid as stone. When I
had them redone I noticed an out of balance thing going on after 70 mph
to just shy of 80.
I didn't dare take it back after I gave them a hard time about putting
the weights on the outside of the rim, so I have been living w/ it (and
it's been VERY hard) until I have my pimp'ed wheels mounted w/ new rubber
(probably the day before I leave for Cincy).
Just my experience.
