Need Used 205/40/R16 tires for a test fit.

Forgot to say that the Kossei's had a 35 mm offset.

Okay, I decided try the 205/45/R16 Kossei Seneca wheels and worn out
Khumo 712 tires. I also have H&R Coilovers on both of my 16V Sciroccos.
The one they were on I had the coilovers dialed stiffer to keep them
form rubbing too much. Yes they rubbed, right were the top middle screw
is for the 16V body kit. I moved them to my other scirocco which has
the same setup except that it has Bonrath strut supports, which lower
the car a little more. They did rub a little on very hard cornering in
an empty parking lot. I also noticed that the fenders have been bent or
rolled up slightly which gave a little more clearance. The bottom line
is I could go with the 45 profile but they are larger in diameter than
stock and even with the 3.94 R&P I could tell a difference. So I think
I will go with the 40 profile for the smaller than stock diameter and
more clearance.

Don

I'm worried about the same thing, I have a set of 16in BBS's with a 35mm

offset. My car is really low and I'm hoping it will take 205/40/16's
without rubbing. Please let us know how it goes.
