Woah Drew...no! The eco-diesel was a special 1.6TD that utilized a cat
and had the boost aneriod removed. It used a smaller turbo, and was rated
at 68HP (though I've found that turbos spool characteristics to make it a
much more fun engine to drive than the standard 1.6TD)

Many dynos have proven that the numbers VW quoted for the stock TDI were
silly low. I've seen multiple dynos showing 100 hp and 185+ ft lbs *to
the wheels* from stock TDIs.
