best way to clean leather upholstery?

Good point. My point was that "cleaning" it won't do;
you have to kill the stuff.  If a leather cleaner or
conditioner can do it, so much the better. A tack shop
is a good idea.  I hear horses can sweat :-), so I'm
sure a tack shop would have a way to clean and disinfect
leather while preserving it.
