What tranny do you have, and you don't needs a micro meter to 100mm that is
~3.94 inches.
If your tranny is a 9a (like it was on a stock 85 8v) then you have the
100mm

Subject: CV JOINT question
Apart from getting under the car with a 3-4" micrometer, how can I tell
if I have a 90mm or 100mm CV joint on my 85 8V ( built Nov.84).Are all
8v 90mm and 16v 100mm?
My parts supplier can't tell me....anyone with an 85 or newer 8V know
what they have?
Thanks,
John
