Nor am I.  I've been blissfully ignorant of this gas price thing - 
although I guess it'll be time to start cutting the lawn soon.  That and I 
should probably park the "old girl" with her 277 cubic inch inline 4 - she 
has a habit of drinking it back, but that unbaffled exhaust always sounds 
so sweet interlaced with the whine of straight cut gears.

On a Scirocco note - Carrots is getting a shift linkage overhaul - new 
bushings at the bottom of the gear shit lever and a nicely lubed and not 
so worn out gearshift base to replace the dry cracked sloppy one that's in 
there now.
