a short question before I get the crank worked
Thanks for the replies gents (Dan, Dave, and Don)!
I knew that this was probably the case because the other crank did not
have a separate part # and as a rule of thumb trannies are switchable,
but wanted to make sure before I was 1/2 way into the swap and $100
lighter for the crank work.
The screaming fantods may have been due to mexican food.
I use a special cream to calm the screaming fantiods. ;^}
The next item up for bids (due to the engine being @ the machine shop for
a couple of weeks) is the 9A tranny rebuild w/ bolt kit, 80% kit and 5th
swap. The one I got from the yard is crusty w/ caked crap and so is
presently under Gunk treatment in preparation for a trip to the car wash
and then the "real fun" begins.
Looking forward to the complete tear down <sic>.
Thanks again!
Tim
