Will exhaust system for Rabbit fit a Scirocco?

A local is selling his new exhaust system from his recently smushed
Rabbit. It's a 2.25" system with SS Magnaflow muffler. Would this fit
on a Mk1 or Mk2 Scirocco? How about the downpipe (same ex. manifold) If
not, is it close enough that a custom exhaust shop could alter it
slightly to fit?
