Harbor Freight Precision Tools
Dave, The caliper comes with an extra set of batteries too!
I am tempted to pick it up and 'calibrate' it with a few of my friend's
dial calipers, however; that is what I am trying to get away from,
borrowing my friend/brother's tools.

IIRC, the brand on the digital caliper is the same brand as a mechanic
friend
who has had his for the last 6 plus years, no trouble but batteries...
He
spent like 275.00 for his... "Central" something on it....
