16V Scirocco wiring guru needed...
IIRC the system is intended to operate as follows:
low temp circuit on thermo-switch in rad activates the low speed on
cooling fan via the relay.
turning on the AC activates the low-speed on cooling fan via the relay.
high temp circuit on thermo-switch in rad activates the high speed on
cooling fan via dirct-wire.
some cars (A2's I know for sure, don't know about Sciroccos though) had
after-run circuits which would activate the low speed fan (via the relay
and a control unit in the dash) when engine coolant temps hit some level
(105C to 110C) with the ignition off.
