when you're putting oil in an engine...

after having bolted up the oil pan, and hooking up the return line to the 
turbo, and making sure that the drain plug is in and tight...

either take the &*&%%$!@# valve cover OFF or bolt the ^*^%#*()*#! thing 
snug so that the OIL you've just poured in doesn't bounce off the oil 
deflector and out from underneath the loose valve cover and all down the 
back of the engine, all over the floor.

Argh.
