I have to ask.. what are you going to do about shift linkage for two
transaxles?

I can see custom throttle and clutch cables being worked out and routed
back to the rear engine, but the shift linkage is gonna take a lot of fine
adjustment to prevent one of the trannys from being only halfway in gear
when the other is fully engaged, etc.

Under-the-car routing of the linkage would be a bit of a challenge, too..
since there's no center hump, per se.
