Stressbar discussion...

Interesting discussion.  Too bad he's completely off-base.

Even if towers move appreciably (which I doubt), how can tying one movable tower to another moveable tower with a flexible strut brace do much?  No, the VW chassis is a bunch stiffer than any puny length of bent 3/4" tubing.
That's MY perspective...
