LOL, all that he-man sewing! But how's it do on the silks and lacey stuff

FWIW I have an older (70s) Singer that is very touchy, and a Husquavarna
(80s vintage) that is bulletproof. From what I understand, the old treadles
like Julie's do well on the heavier stuff too. Get a free arm model if you
can, so if you need to sew anything tubular it will slide over the free arm
easily.
