HELP changing line over rear torshen bar

I have a few question

what is the size of the brake line fittings i was using 7/16 and 9/16 and 
that worked for all the other lines but i cant get the one over the rear 
torsen bar off.

is there anything i can use to help free them up?
what size is the bleeder valve? is ther some trick to freeing them up too?

completly unrelate but how do i allign the engine to eliminate vibration? 
the bentley just says loosen the mounts and jiggle the engine on level 
ground. is this the way to do it or is there a better way?
