Its not so much the de-badging adhesive as the Badging Adhesive. I have 
never had a problem with debadging stuff  :)
Bug and tar remover soaked in a red rag will work, so will the rubber wheel 
for removing the striping from a car. I used the wheel and it works well 
with out hurting the clear coat on a car, just be cautious.
