what fights rust?

POR 15 is the product that absolutely kills rust. The man that invented
it developed it to hold his Porsche together and keep it from dissolving
in the constant assault from rust in the Midwest.

Nothing really kills rust except complete removal. I use a sand blaster
and 
gringer to get rid of all the rust. Then replace and missing metal with
a 
welder.
prime with acid based primer and enamel top coat.

Others swear by POR 15. Rustoleum? Just plain s**ks.
