OT - Get-together accidents

And you thought the wreck at Cincy was bad... for years, my family has
attended a small airplane fly-in get together in Tennesee.  Just a bunch
of friends hanging out, like Cincy with wings.  I wasn't able to attend
this year, but my brother did.  One of his friends stopped off to say hi,
had a few burgers, then decided to leave, because it looked like there
was going to be a thunderstorm in the next hour or so.  Well, it turns out
that storm was closer than it looked.  Just after the guy lifted off, the
first gust from the storm hit, probably a 50 MPH crosswind.  He only had
30 feet of altitude,  and was blown sideways into the woods.  Amazingly,
both the pilot and passenger not only survived, but got out on their
own.  One guy didn't have a scratch, other guy had a cut on his
ear.  Plane is a total loss.. check these pics.
