Working with Carbon Fiber (follow-up)...

i use the 3m 6100 series:
http://www.magidglove.com/product.asp?dept%5Fid=218&pf%5Fid=1
the organic filter, specifically, is 6001
http://www.magidglove.com/product.asp?dept_id=210&pf_id=1371

the reason i am pushing these over the simple face mask style is that the cartridges simply last forever (provided you bag them between uses).

when i'm back in georgia i will be able to get these things by the box (we use epoxy 2-part paint on the subs down there, and the usn is _really_ anal about keeping their guys safe during maintenance).

Actually, he didn't give a color, just a couple of model numbers: 8210 or 8511 (3M #s). I found some 8511s online (box of 10 for $20+) and ordered them.
