How do you say Scirocco?

I live in Germany and I was confused about the pronunciation of
the word Scirocco for a while. Well, I have bought plenty of parts from
the VW dealer and various parts stores so I've heard it from the
Germans plenty. They say "Shee-roe-co". The only people I have heard
say "See-roe-co" are the other americans. So call it whatever you will,
but now you know how the people who built them say it. My two yr. old
calls it a "Shawocco".
Oh, by the way. If many of you are looking for European Scirocco
parts (i.e. lights, bumpers, etc.), give me a holler. If I can find the
time between duty hours and family time I'll try to locate. Most parts
could be shipped via USPS so shipping wouldn't be outrageous. Golfs
too. I think if I see another Golf or BMW, I'm gonna hurl...Oops! What
a mess. I looked out the window and there went breakfast.

don't think they are in the German language? Someone set me straight

I am dis-informing...
The SH isn't a problem (Sheisse!) but the TH.. like in "enthusiasm" is
challenging to Germans.. much as umlaut vowels are to native English
speakers. Since the "o" (without umlaut) is a long O sound, they
tend to say it as "SHE-ROE-co" - but not SKI-roe-co AFAIK.
