Don't hold your breath, Dave. Have you TALKED to Vince DIRECTLY about a "new 
upgraded version" or just "heard" about one?  BTW---There is NO "they" in VL 
Enterprises-- the whole outfit IS one man, and that man is Vince Lociciero

Vince got burned bad by his former machined parts supplier- which (along with 
a health scare) ultimately led to the "end" of the Option-6. Many listers 
will remember the bad press VLE got on RAMVW and Vortex as the people who ordered 
the last five transaxles had to wait a LONG time-- well over a year for 
delivery. One guy even flew out from the East Coast and showed up at Vince's shop 
after patiently waiting upwards of 14 months for a paid transaxle.. 

Vince closed the doors to his small shop in Hillsboro, Oregon several years 
ago-- and has been concentrating on an home based internet parts business- 
Quality VW Parts- ever since. 

Even if the story of a "new" planned VL tranny are true-- (unlikely) I'd have 
to say an ALREADY ASSEMBLED NEW TRANSAXLE is much better than a "rumored" 
one... 

The one I have up for auction is REAL.
